Mark your calenders for the MCUG Summer Picnic.

The Pavilion at Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds has been reserved for the afternoon and evening on July 12, 2010 by MCUG.

Food will be served at 6:00PM.  MCUG will be providing Bar_B_Que sandwiches, baked beans, and cole slaw (catered by Matt King of Hiawassee, GA), along with beverages, ice, napkins,  plates, flatware, etc. There will also be a selection of Fat Buddies sauces. You are asked to bring a side dish, either a vegetable dish or dessert to round out the meal. RSVP's are due by July 8, 2010 evening to reaw@brmemc.net. Spouses and any guests you wish to bring are invited. We just need to know how many will be in your group.

We will raffle a wireless keyboard and mouse. Tickets are $2.00 each or three for $5.00. Tickets will still be available for purchase at the picnic. We will also have several door prizes, including a fruit basket. 

Note: This is not the same location as last year. The new location is just off the north side of US76 about 1/4 mile west of Hiawassee, GA. city limits (the bridge over Lake Chatuge). Go to the uppermost parking area of the main parking lots on the Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds. The pavilion is adjacent to the Rhodendrum Garden entrance.
