Nextgen Changes OSS Causing Community Uproar

Nextgen made a key change to the Open Source release of Mirth Connect 4.1.1 that caused an uproar in the community and created somewhat of a technical challenge. This change requires a Name, Phone and Email to be provided when installing MC 4.1.1. It seems that this did not go over well with the community users and leaves us wondering how much longer Nextgen will continue to support the Mirth Connect as an Open Source project. Recent moves from adding licensing keys to 3.7 and now to this requirement seems to run counter to Open Source fundamental ideas. We will continue to keep an eye on the company moves and will keep you all updated. Here is the link to the discussion thread:
